Anize Keers Digital Portfolio

Hi, my name is Anize Keers, born in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Passionate about all that is new and exciting, I am a creative and innovative BA journalism graduate, with a knack for feature writing, seeking a fast-paced role in the media industry.

My passions include advocating and writing about women’s rights and animal rights, food reviewing and arts and culture news.

As a BA journalism student I developed strong news writing ability for print, magazine and digital media. I worked as part of a team to create podcasts, a magazine and blogs, videos, an investigative research project and digital media. I have also been features editor for The River Newspaper which has allowed me to learn how to manage an editorial role and conduct a team. 

I have an eye for local news stories and features, with the ability to develop articles by in-depth research and selection of relevant, informative sources.

My placement at Time & Leisure Magazine allowed me to harness these skills and gain valuable knowledge of a busy journalism environment and hands-on experience in media production.
